Study Breaks is an online magazine written and illustrated by college students across the country about trending media, emerging artists and contemporary culture. Founded in Austin in 1988 as a monthly print magazine, the purpose of Study Breaks is two-fold: one, to showcase excellent student writing, and two, to provide sharp insight into the cultural milieu from the perspective of millennials and Generation Z.
During my time at Study Breaks, I rebranded and redesigned both the print and online magazine, injecting a much needed sense of playfulness and a contemporary touch.
